Responsibilities – • Creating new schematics using DxDesigner. • Creating BOM (Component partlist) & BOM costing. • Creating new symbols for schematics & footprint as per datasheet. • Creating footprints from the physical component when the datasheet of the same was not available (Tools used Digital vernier caliper, for the verification took the 1:1 print out of the footprint and done a mock and placed the component over it see the solderability) • Placement and Routing for Single side, Double side and Multilayer PCBs using mentor graphics (9.5 Pads) software. • Layout design as per IPC standards & IPC-7351B) & manufacturing requirements. Experience on product certification (CE, RoHS, UL, MID) and TCFs. • Have knowledge of the Mechanical models, checking interference of PCB with enclosure fitments. • Generating the entire Gerber file package. • Panelization of single or multi-board PCBs as required. • Verification and Validation of the files. • Knowledge of PCB Assembly processes such as design Stencil & stencil printing, Pick-n-Place data of components, Reflow & Wave soldering methods. • Documentation of all the files required for Assembly process. • Independent project execution. • Knowledge of the test set up for product testing (Functional, Safety, EMC & LVD Test as per standard IEC-60947-2, IEC-60•••51, IEC-61326-1.) • Knowledge on creating necessary design stages documents for the products & its handover. • Knowledge of CorelDRAW for design operating manual.
