Designed and implemented an automation solution to streamline the Monthly Journal Entry(MJE) process. The bot ingests approved journal entry emails, validates attachments, and uploads theminto the SAP eLedger portal. It intelligently identifies approvers from the email To/CC list, cross-checksthem with the SAP approver list, and submits the entries for approval. If no approver is found, the botgenerates a business exception notification. Initially built as an unattended bot, it was later optimized andconverted into an attended automation to align with business requirements. This automation reducedmanual effort, eliminated errors in journal entry submissions, and improved turnaround time for monthlyfinancial closing activities.
