About Sonal Shinde

I have over twenty five years of work experience encompassing program design, management and implementation. I have provided leadership in the development and launching of strategic new programs for the organizations I have worked with a particular focus on community-mobilization and multi-sectoral initiatives (Food Security, Livelihoods, Nutrition, WASH, Education, Protection, Psychosocial Support, NFI) in complex emergencies and natural disasters aimed at revitalizing communities. I have completed long-term assignments in South Asia, Africa and the Middle East working on US and international donor funded projects (USAID, DFID, ECHO, EC etc) for the UN and NGOs with over ten years’ experience in the senior leadership positions. I have excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills and have proven supervisory, organizational and leadership abilities.
