About Sonakshi Agarwal

As the Managing Director of Sterlite Edindia Foundation, I lead the mission of creating \"better prepared\" teachers of the future through technology, innovation, and data analytics. I have a degree in economics from University of Pennsylvania, and a passion for business strategy and marketing communication across various sectors, including corporate and social impact initiatives.Under my leadership, Edindia has reached schools in 6 states, processing 2 billion data-points, and positively impacting in-service and 3500+ pre-service teachers. We enable teachers to make the greatest positive impact on student engagement and equity, by offering high-touch and low-touch models that suit their needs and contexts. I am also a director on the board of the Jindal Naturecure Institute, a renowned health and wellness center that promotes natural healing and holistic wellness. I balance my professional and personal life by being a mother of two kids, a travel enthusiast, a trained Kathak dancer, and a skier!
