About Sona Arakelyan

Employees deserve all the legal protections and rights available to them under the law. As an Associate Attorney at D.Law, I represent and defend employees in a wide range of disputes arising from their employment, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, protected leaves, and unpaid wages. I help bring awareness of these protections to D.Law’s current and prospective clients, many of whom are hearing these rights for the first time. Since I understand the needs and delicate emotions connected to employees\' situations, I am able to build trust during these consultations by explaining the law in understandable language, remaining open to follow-up questions, and responding to their individual circumstances with genuine empathy and compassion. I was attracted to D.Law because of its core commitment to community engagement and an innovative culture that values collective thinking, strong ethical principles, student outreach and compassion for clients. It is personally important to me to protect – and expand – the legal rights available to all workers. As I continue to advance in my career, my goal is to keep learning, adapting, and providing excellent representation to employees who may have been wrongfully treated by their employers.
