ABOUT SON NGUYEN
I graduated with a Ph.D. in Mathematics in May 2024 at The University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa where my research focused on Lie groups/ Lie algebras, graph theory, topology and invariant theory. I also earned a Master\'s degree in Optimization and Statistics in Machine Learning at Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan where my interest was about convex optimization, machine learning and probability/statistics.I enjoy translating real-world problems into mathematical problems, solving them by algorithms and computing them by using Python, R, or Matlab.
