Experience with public and private company, as well as experience delivering accounting advisory services to clients. Experience includes ASPE, IFRS, USGAAP and PCAOB engagements as well as experience leading reviews for quality processes. Industry experience includes experience with the hydro/rate regulated, power generation and transmission, Power & Utilities, technology, cannabis, energy, aerospace, transportation, oil and gas, Manufacturing, Not for Profit and consumer products sectors. I have been associated with Ernst & Young LLP (EY) for 13 years. Over the pathway to leadership, I began as an Audit Associate with EY India in 2008 and emerged as a self-learning individual with a problem-solving oriented approach towards complex situations. I was promoted to manager in 2011 and to senior manager in 2017.In February 2019, I moved to Canada and continued my career as senior manager with EY Canada Assurance practice. I am currently working with KPMG LLP, Ottawa since March 2021 in Audit practice. I have calm approach and genuine interest in helping people and reflects supportive and collaborative culture at work. I am known for effectively teaming, providing career growth experiences to fellow team members, developing trust across functions, strong project management skills and operations to drive results. I lead by example and I have been known to go above and beyond to meet or exceed expectations.Key responsibilities includes- Provide value-based solutions to clients based on industry experience, knowledge and maintained cordial relationship with clients- Experience with quality review, coaching, mentoring, hiring, building a team, helping with audit strategy- SOX experience- Plan, scope and direct complex audit and assurance engagements, as well as internal control, financial and accounting transactions - Accountable for project financials (budgets, billing, collection, variance recognition)- Exhibit people management skills by taking ownership in mentoring team members, ensuring positive work environment- Conduct performance reviews, serving as a positive leader and mentor, and contributing to performance feedback/ trainings - Assist in raising the team commitment, completion of audits and enhance personnel growth - Identify important and critical issues on timely basis, engage with the client early enabling them to find appropriate solutions- Audit experience and knowledge in independently handling clients Accreditation: US Accreditation Requirements Compliant (SEC, US GAAP, ICOFR, PCAOB, AICPA, SOX)
