About Somya Bajaj
My journey in public policy began with listening to communities — farmers in Singur and Kalinganagar fighting for their land, and youth in Mirzapur striving for education, families seeking dignity in work. Today, I continue that mission by working across India and Africa to reflect public experiences in policymaking by triangulating data and anecdotes with a focus on education, skill development and livelihoods. I have authored “Their Way, The Highway”, documenting people’s struggles and aspirations in Singur.
