About Somu Sree

Assessing existing capacity and developing plans and forecasts based on future demand, you’ll be reviewing recommendations from suppliers and delivering teams in relation to installed capacity and product changes, approving the recommendations or advising on alternatives. Reviewing data and trends to identify and diagnose problems, concerns and future capacity deficiencies. Ensuring necessary changes are communicated to the teams responsible for change and risks are identified, recorded and accepted. Reviewing usage of capacity planning and performance monitoring tools to recommend improvements in tools or integration to ensure they provide the information required for effective capacity management. You’ll be responsible for contributing to capacity, availability, problem management, change management, and knowledge management activities within the team, and undertaking continual service improvements as a day-to-day activity. Providing regular reporting to stakeholders and senior management, ensuring that effective data, statistical analysis, and performance metrics are available to internal stakeholders For this role, you’ll have significant experience in a capacity planning role preferably within a financial organization but not essential You’ll have a deep understanding of IT Service Management processes, particularly those relating to Capacity and Demand Management Significant experience in building capacity/forecasting models and plans and undertaking complex analysis to create information Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work with and influence other teams and suppliers to remove blockers and drive improvement.
