ABOUT SOMTIRTHA ROY

As a software engineer, I have developed AI observability and monitoring tools for leading software companies (Pinterest, Meta, Airbnb) as a contractor. With over 9 years of experience in web, cloud, and machine learning development, I have the skills and knowledge to create innovative and scalable solutions that meet the needs of any industry.Previously, I worked as a software developer at Berkeley Lab, where I developed Arrowland, an online multiscale interactive tool for -omics data visualization of genome scale models. This project enabled biologists to better understand genome scale interactions for efficient bio-fuel production. I also developed cloud infrastructure at Pinterest to run machine learning algorithms on the cloud using Docker and Kubernetes. These experiences enhanced my proficiency in Python, Java, React.js, and other technologies, as well as my ability to work in cross-functional and agile teams.My mission is to leverage my passion and expertise in software engineering to create impactful and user-friendly applications that solve real-world problems and improve people\'s lives. I am always eager to learn new skills and technologies, and to collaborate with other talented and creative professionals.
