Growing up in the foothills of Appalachia, storytelling was ingrained within myself from the start.Effectively taking complex ideas and information and transforming them into clearcut and direct stories is a process that I\'ve applied to a wide range of my experiences.During my time at Miami University, I declared a double major in Journalism and Political Science, chosen to represent The College of Arts and Sciences as a student ambassador, was Chapter President for Alpha Phi (Gamma Nu), and served on a number of student organization executive boards.No matter the subject, I have found a way to apply my skills and make them applicable to each and every goal I set to accomplish. My strength in writing, leadership and communication has allowed myself to thrive within my journalistic and non-journalistic goals. Hooking in my audience, both on the page and beyond it.
