In a data warehouse initiative was responsible for requirements gathering, preparing mapping document, architecting end to end ETL flow, building complex ETL procedures, developing strategy to move existing data feeds into the Data Warehouse (DW), perform data cleansing activities using various transformations. • Perform gap analysis of current state and future state of system design, data model and business logic. • Develop data mapping document (DMD), Data Requirement Document (DRD) for all the impacted database objects and downstream consumers of data warehouse data. • Refactor existing ETL jobs/workflows/data flows. Develop new ETL jobs/workflows/dataflows considering data model/business logic changes. • Recommend data model changes in the data warehouse to account for upstream data model changes. • Created Informatica workflows and mappings for - Batch and Real Time processes. • Analyze large volumes of data using UNIX and Python programs. • Analysis of existing Informatica workflows to recode in IICS. • Involved in performance tuning of ETL jobs. • Involved in post-production issue fix and provided warranty support. • Perform bug fixes and enhancements to the ETL Interfaces. • Work with QA team in developing test cases, test scripts and review QA test strategy. • Performed application testing in SIT phase, UAT and pre-production environment.
