Somit Goyal has over 20 years of broad experience in enterprise and consumer software in various functions across executive management, sales, customer success, business strategy, product development and product management. Somit is the CEO of IBS Software. Previously, Somit Goyal was President & Chief Operating Officer of Pluralsight, Inc, the leading technology workforce development company that helps companies and people around the world transform with technology. In his role, Somit oversees the development and execution of Pluralsight’s cohesive strategy across core product and go-to-market teams in support of the company’s growth.Previously, Somit was at Microsoft for over a decade, where he most recently served as General Manager of Modern Work, which comprises Microsoft\'s suite of productivity, collaboration, and employee experience products and the Surface family of devices. Prior to his role as General Manager, Somit was Chief Operating Officer for the Worldwide Public Sector business at Microsoft and led the Worldwide Commercial Business Strategy & Operations team, driving strategic growth initiatives and owning sales analytics for Microsoft\'s commercial business. Somit also created the Customer Success function at Microsoft and led the global customer success organization for Microsoft Dynamics 365.Prior to Microsoft, Somit held product development, product management, and strategy roles at various companies, including SAP, Oracle, and AOL. Somit holds an Electrical Engineering degree from Indian Institute of Technology and an MBA from INSEAD.
