About Somayeh Nikooei
I have been the driving force behind ISF since its inception in 2009, spearheading the organization’s operations and expanding its programs to make a lasting impact. My deep commitment to strengthening the Muslim community is matched by my dedication to empowering young leaders, recognizing them as the cornerstone of our future. I hold a BA in Architectural Design from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MA in Public Administration with a focus on Nonprofit Management from San Francisco State University. I also serve on the board of the Northern California Islamic Council (NCIC). Beyond my professional pursuits, I enjoy a rich life filled with yoga, painting, reading, and culinary adventures, and I love exploring the outdoors through hiking and biking with my two daughters and husband.
