Virtual Operating Systems (VOS) in DB Org Designed and implemented a ReACT-style agentic framework to detect and fix Oracle Database bugs. This can automatically fix static analysis bugs in our codebase, thus accelerating developer productivity. Built a CLI chat interface that integrates with internal systems using Model Context Protocol (MCP) and structured tools to debug static analysis bugs, explain symbols or merge requests, generate patches, and raise code reviews. Implemented Reflexion (self-reflection) to enable self-correction and automatic demo-prompt generation for the agent. Developed a benchmark leveraging LLMs as judges to automatically evaluate code fix accuracy and reasoning quality. Built a runtime extension framework for Oracle Database, enabling dynamic loading of shared libraries similar to PostgreSQL extensions. This allowed teams to plug in new database capabilities without full rebuilds. Enhanced an elastic shared memory system spanning multiple processes, introducing namespace-aware dynamic allocation to efficiently share and grow memory regions at runtime.
