I\'m a Lead Electrical Engineer at Trane Technologies, focusing on Advanced Technologies and Electrical Standards for high-efficiency stationary, building, and mobile climate control solutions. I\'m also an Adjunct Professor at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I received my PhD in 2014, on Electric Power and Power Electronics from Texas A&M University, where I worked on power converters for distributed energy resources, including utility scale converter systems for photovoltaics, and battery energy storage systems. My research interests include new power electronic topologies and controls for sustainable power / transportation, motor drive systems, DER high-penetration scenarios, energy storage, and cybersecurity for power.Previously: Research & Development Engineering Manager at QM Power Inc, Teaching Professor & Manager of Flexible Energy Laboratories Suite, Energy Production & Infrastructure Center, University of North Carolina at Charlotte; Lecturer, Texas A&M University; Internships at General Electric Global Research Center, Dell.
