ABOUT SOLYM MANOU-ABI

Solym Manou-Abi holds a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Toulouse (Univ. Paul Sabatier) and a High Degree of Research (HDR, accreditation for full supervision of PhD students) in Mathematics and Data Science from the University of Montpellier. He is currently Professor (Associate & HDR) of Mathematics and Data science at the University of Poitiers within Engineering School ENSAR (ex IRIAF). His research lies at the interface between computational probability and statistics as well as theory and applications in health and environmental issues, with a particular focus on heavy-tailed and stable stochastic processes, non classical asymptotic theorems, statistical inference, including spatial models and machine learning.
