ABOUT MIKE CATIGNANI

Having worked in the IT industry for over 20 years I have worked in several roles and technical areas within the industry. Experiencing many different platforms and technologies, but it is in the Power Platform Solutions Architect role that I have found my natural place. As a Solutions Architect and Power Platform Consultant, I have the chance to combine my technical skills with my people skills to deliver first class solutions to stakeholders. Technically I can see the bigger picture for customers, considering their needs, their end users’ needs and future IT developments; this allows me to provide solution designs that are technically precise and scalable. Having worked exclusively with O365 and the Power Platform I truly see that enterprise scale solutions can be delivered quicker, better, and cheaper than ever before all down to the power of the Power Platform. I also enjoy working with people, without wanting to sound like a cliché I am a ‘people person’ who likes to get stuck in with a team, engage with stakeholders and ensure that everyone involved is supportive of the proposed solution and understands what is required of them. I know my audience and often present my solutions to different audiences ranging from end users and technical staff through to senior management, each time presenting the solution in a way to make them fully engage with it. With a keen eye on my risk register I pride myself in bringing in projects on time and on budget. I manage a development team to deliver my projects and seamlessly provide the full life cycle of consultancy design test and delivery. I also ensure that the delivery team are kept fully up to date with the latest technology by creating opportunities to develop against the latest “new thing” Most recently I have been working with Power Virtual Agents and Microsoft AI.
