About Solstice Owens

I graduated from Liberty High School in 2021 and during high school, I owned my own swimming business. I have taught over 30 people how to swim. I taught people from 2-60 years old. I learned to communicate with people of all ages and how to work with all kinds of personalities.After graduating high school, I worked at Clark\'s shoe retail store. I learned to meet customers\' needs and get along with my coworkers. I used those skills on a 1.5-year mission trip for my church. I moved to Alberta, Canada, and spent time serving the community and teaching immigrants English. I was part of my mission\'s leadership and learned how to resolve conflict and make decisions on the fly. I returned from my mission eleven months ago and started attending university full-time at Brigham Young University-Idaho. I will use my leadership skills and experience to create an inviting atmosphere for those I associate with, especially in my workplace and with customers. I will strive for excellence in methodical decision-making in all that I undertake.
