ABOUT GREGORIO SOLOPERTO
Gregorio Soloperto is a motion designer, fully capable of conceptualizing, developing and executing designs seamlessly. Whilst obtaining his bachelor degree in industrial design (20••••04), his passion for moving images became stronger. As the industry of Computer Graphics booms, his focus is to develop the finest digital artefacts with Motion Design and Visual Effects, as he feels captivated by the fine art of layering and flawlessly merging reality and virtual elements. During his MA years in Communication Design (20••••06), he begins to collaborate with a Milan based creative studio called Abstract groove. This collab results in numerous video artefacts and installations for commercial clients such as Diesel. With the aim to perfect his skills and techniques as well as developing a signature style, he becomes keen to work on new ideas and to take new challenges. The next natural step was to work in post production on short movies and commercials. From working in this 3D & Graphics department atMovie & Arts he then joins Anteprima Video Group, where he operates as resident Digital Composor and Online Editor for some of the agency’s most loyal accounts: Mc Donalds, Gazzetta dello Sport, Az, Rcs, Sony BMG, Clearblue, Cibavision. Beyond his success as a creative mind and a reliable and knowledgeable designer, Gregorio also shines in great interpersonal and managerial skills. His can-do attitude and professionality has lead him to manage and coordinate projects on a freelance basis. Some of these include brands such as Sky Italia, H3G… More recently, he has been appointed as Senior Designer at Current tv Italy where he is responsible for design and executing all broadcast and online graphics.
