About Solomon Chang
As a graduate researcher at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, I dedicated my research to studying marine science through assembling high-quality data, constructing large datasets, and conducting both qualitative & quantitative data analyses. In addition to data management & analytics, I gained capabilities in environmental/biological sampling through hands-on field-based research, technical/scientific literacy through developing publication-level manuscripts, and scientific communication through presenting my work at scientific conferences and public outreach programs.My professional experiences, as an Instructor\'s Assistant and Research Assistant, have equipped me with skills in project management, cross-disciplinary teamwork, coding languages (R/Python), and software application proficiency (Microsoft Office). Additionally, presenting at scientific conferences and public outreach programs has further enhanced my ability to clearly communicate complex concepts to a diverse audience. My main focus is to apply my skills towards environmental sustainability, research, and consulting. My interest lies in expanding my knowledge and experiences so that I can contribute meaningfully to the welfare of our planet.
