ABOUT SOL KANG
Hi, I\'m a product designer and a design researcher who thrives in navigating ambiguously defined design spaces. I\'m interested in exploring diverse problem areas within AI, consumer tech, and health tech. Previously, I have designed a generative AI-powered web app for e-book users and recently presented my research on designing with generative AI and personal metadata at ACM CHI \'24. In the fintech industry, I have designed a B2B SaaS-based CRM tool for financial advisors as a UX intern at Advisor360°, a company that develops wealth management platform. I worked on an early-stage exploration of an AI-powered interactive dashboard for client and advisor management, which will save users a great amount of time and effort of having to export their data to external software. Recently, I completed a master\'s degree in Interaction Design at Simon Fraser University. I’ve worked on multiple research projects in designing with generative AI (large language models) and personal metadata. Prior to this, I graduated summa cum laude from Tufts University in 2022 with a double major in Cognitive Brain Science and Architectural Studies.
