Currently, assisting the implementation of the Hegra Conservation Project, which entails a thorough stone features conservation assessment for the UNESCO World Heritage property Hegra Archaeological Site (al-Hijr / Madā ͐ in Ṣāliḥ), in collaboration with the Royal Commission for AlUla.The documentation project aims at assessing the State of Conservation of several components the World Heritage property is composed of, as well as providing geo-referenced information on the site in order to facilitate future conservation and monitoring activities.Being the activities carried out on-site, the project further represents a unique opportunity to widen and deepen the knowledge already existing on the Natabaean civilization, its techniques, customs, and expertise.
