Solange Warner is the World Chamber of Commerce’s Founder and the first President. She founded the organization in February of 2008. The World Chamber of Commerce (WCC) is an independent, non-profit, educational, and networking worldwide organization. The purpose of the WCC is to promote commercial, cultural/educational, and humanitarian relations globally, and facilitate trade and investment worldwide. The World Chamber of Commerce Mission Statement is to promote/teach international trade, and foster cultural and humanitarian exchange to develop economic opportunity worldwide. As President of the WCC, she developed the organization from the ground up, establishing the entire structure of the organization, including Board of directors, some of which are Ambassadors, Senators, Consuls and other dignitaries, such as Ambassador Andrew Young, WCC Honorary Chairman, Senator Gloria Butler, Senator Curt Thompson, and members of the Consular Corps of Georgia, among others. Additionally, she developed initiatives such as “The International Trade Hero Awards”. Among the WCC award recipients were Ambassador Andrew Young, Rhett Turner and the Dean of the Consular Corps of Georgia, Ambassador Reda Mansour. Furthermore, she develop the WCC humanitarian Initiative, “Human Trafficking Awareness to Keep Our Children Safe” to promote awareness of such a devastating issue for our society. In addition, she developed the humanitarian initiative “Haiti Relief Effort” sending airplanes to Haiti with humanitarian aids for the earthquake victims.The World Chamber of Commerce assists companies reach out to lucrative international markets. Our Chamber provides networking and contact opportunities between businesses located in the U.S. and those internationally. WCC builds international awareness for American and foreign businesses by fostering an economic, cultural and social/humanitarian exchange, and acts as a liaison between organizations seeking to develop international trade.
