Leadership in Clinical Data Science: Lead translational research using large-scale RCTs to identify and validate biomarkers predicting therapeutic response and disease progression in cardio-renal-metabolic diseases, focusing on SGLT-2 inhibitors, GLP-1 receptor agonists, and dual GIP/GLP-1 receptor agonists.• Clinical Trial Data Analysis: Manage and analyze data from landmark trials (CREDENCE, AWARD-7) and longitudinal cohorts (Joslin Diabetes) to uncover prognostic and predictive biomarkers.• Data Integration & Visualization: Design and implement data pipelines and visualization tools to translate complex multi-omics and clinical data into actionable insights for scientific and clinical stakeholders.• Pharma Collaborations: Partner with pharma leaders including Eli Lilly and Janssen to align biomarker research with drug development and clinical strategies, accelerating personalized medicine adoption.• Grant Acquisition & Management: Secure and manage competitive grants focused on proteomics and micro-RNA biomarkers.• Bioinformatics & Statistical Modeling: Utilize SAS, R, and causal inference methods to integrate clinical, biochemical, and omics datasets.• Clinical Validation: Support validation of the Joslin Kidney Panel, an Olink-based proteomic assay enhancing prognosis and treatment guidance in diabetic kidney disease.• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure biomarker research complies with regulatory standards to facilitate clinical translation and drug development.• Mentorship & Training: Train and mentor students, lab assistants, in biomarker research, data science, and translational methodologies.• Scientific Communication: Contribute to peer-reviewed publications and present findings at conferences to disseminate research and foster collaborations.
