About Sohrab Seera
About MeI\'m the CEO and Founder of Computing ReApplied (C-RA), where we are building technology to modernize how medical research is conducted, starting with nutrition. My background is in Informatics and Data Science from the University of Washington, with a focus on applying data-driven approaches to solve real-world health challenges. My early work at Seattle Children\'s Hospital gave me firsthand insight into the inefficiencies researchers face and inspired me to create more intuitive and scalable tools for the field. What I DoAt C-RA, we’ve developed myMedDiary, a HIPAA-compliant, low-code platform that makes it easier for researchers to collect and analyze dietary and symptom data in real time. Our tools have been used in studies at leading institutions like Seattle Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School, reducing the cost of dietary data capture by over 60 percent and significantly improving both speed and accuracy. My VisionI’m passionate about building tools that make research easier, faster, and more inclusive so that important insights are not lost in outdated workflows. A major focus of our work is enabling more meaningful studies on how food ingredients, agricultural chemicals, and other environmental exposures affect human health, especially in relation to rising conditions like early-onset colon cancer.My goal is to help reshape food policy and public health by equipping researchers with better data. By leading a cross-disciplinary, mission-driven team, I aim to bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and the day-to-day needs of medical professionals and study participants alike.
