About Klebea Sohn

I am a highly motivated bioinformatics scientist and analytical problem-solver, who is passionate about analyzing multi-omics data to better understand diseases and bring quality of life to patients. My interdisciplinary training in genomics, bioinformatics, and pharmaceutical sciences provides me with a unique perspective to use big data to answer complex biological and clinical questions.At Johnson & Johnson, I bridge the Discovery and Translational sectors to enhance R&D insights. I construct Bayesian network models of diseases, supporting combination therapeutic strategies, and use machine learning tools for patient stratification and modeling baseline treatment responses. Additionally, I develop Shiny apps, enabling scientists from diverse backgrounds to carry out data analysis seamlessly.During my Ph.D. and postdoctoral studies in the cutting-edge Mortazavi Lab at UCI, I’ve had the opportunity to implement pipelines and analyze human and mouse short- and long-read data for consortiums such as ENCODE, Model-AD, as well as for NIH-NIA funded Alzheimer’s Disease research.Last but not least, I am a trained Pharmacist with experience in Hospital Pharmacy in Brazil.Let’s connect!
