Managing SQL Server 2022 databases on Ubuntu 24.10 (internal) and Windows-based client UAT and Production environments. Working directly on client UAT/Production servers for deployments, maintenance, schema changes, and performance troubleshooting. Implemented Log Shipping, and custom backup and recovery strategies to support HA/DR. Created and maintained database diagrams (ERDs) to visualize relationships, support schema planning, and assist development teams. Identified and resolved blocking issues using T-SQL queries and system views like sys.dm_exec_requests and sys.dm_tran_locks. Analyzed deadlocks using system- generated deadlock reports, ensuring minimal production impact. Designed and maintained indexing strategies including rebuilds, reorganizations, and statistics updates to improve query performance. Developed and automated SQL Agent Jobs, custom alert systems, scheduler tasks, and auditing triggers. Supported developers and QA during release cycles, assisting with deployments, validating changes, and resolving data-related issues.
