ABOUT SOHEIL GOLCHIN

Soheil Golchin is an international law researcher and a specialist in human rights law. He has gained practical experience through an internship at the Legal Office of the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (ITLOS) in Hamburg, Germany.He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Azad University of Isfahan and a Master’s degree in Diplomacy and International Law from the School of International Relations in Tehran. Currently, he studies Human Rights Studies at Fulda University of Applied Sciences in Germany.Soheil has developed expertise through his involvement in foreign affairs and international litigation, particularly in inter-state cases before the International Court of Justice (ICJ). His academic and professional interests focus on transboundary legal challenges, especially disputes over shared water resources, as well as the law of the sea and international human rights law.He is also an active member of the Network of Iranian and Afghan Water Scholars, initiated by the IHE Delft Institute for Water Education in the Netherlands. He has published several peer-reviewed articles and analytical legal commentaries.
