   Led end-to-end development of the LTP Discount Claim Filter project- Partnered with engineers, product managers, analytics, and data science teams to define requirements, implement logic- The feature is expected to improve return on ad spend (ROAS) by enhancing audience targeting, leading to an estimated $1.8M in annual profit- Leveraging AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, ChatGPT codex) to reduce tech-debt in Go microservices by refactoring legacy code, adding robust error handling, using plan mode to generate markdown plans (eg. using Kafka materialized view pattern)- Implemented automated deletion of user data, using Golang, from two microservices databases in compliance with the FTC order, targeting users inactive for 7+ years, by consuming and processing Kafka events and using Confluent UI to check the status of producer and consumer- Using Looker to analyze post-launch spending and evaluate whether the feature was performing within budget expectations, providing insights into return on ad spend (ROAS)- Taking the lead in helping optimize a core Go microservice that helps run discount campaigns, utilizing Datadog Database Monitoring with Continuous Profiling and CTE feature in redshift queries to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, resulting in a significant performance improvement, including reducing cache time from ~1 minute to ~4 seconds and improving database latency by 30%- Helping create comprehensive runbooks to streamline debugging processes and improve efficiency for on-call engineers, enhancing incident response and reducing resolution time- Mentored an intern to build a self-serve internal tool for the Pricing & Operations team using Retool, Go, and PostgreSQL—deployed as a Kubernetes CronJob using Docker for containerization—enabling self-service for various messaged-offer workflows and reducing engineering workload by 10 hours per feature- Utilizing Contentful to create and manage campaign contents.
