ABOUT SOHAM PODDAR
I have been working in the broad domain of Generative AI, Natural Language Processing and Computational Social Science. During my PhD, I have worked towards optimizing the energy usage of LLMs for sustainability, and my thesis work was on studying the impact of COVID-19 on people\'s opinions towards vaccines. Previously, I worked on summarizing legal case documents.I have published papers in reputed conferences such as ACL, NAACL, SIGIR and ICWSM. I was awarded the prestigious PMRF fellowship in January 2021.Apart from academics, I play the bass guitar and love exploring music, gaming, swimming, Formula 1, and motorbiking.
