About Soham Moghe
I am a software engineer with a Master’s degree in Computer Science from New York University. I enjoy building reliable software that solves real problems. I focus on full-stack development and I like working close to production systems that real users depend on.I have hands-on experience building and deploying secure web applications using React, Next.js, Node.js, and REST APIs. At Kimber Health, I worked on a platform used by over 1,00 monthly users. I built backend services with authentication, improved API security, and supported CI/CD pipelines that reduced deployment issues and sped up releases. This experience helped me understand how to ship clean, maintainable code in real-world environments.Alongside engineering, I enjoy mentoring and leadership. At NYU, I personally mentored more than 18 incoming graduate students and helped 500+ students during orientation programs. I planned sessions, answered questions, and supported students as they adjusted to a new academic and professional environment. These roles strengthened my communication skills and taught me how to lead with clarity and empathy.I am also active in technical communities.
