As a Solution Architect for the CBRE BOE Smart Solutions Team, I design solutions which are aimed at improving building performance and help in the running of sustainable operations. This involves putting together solutions with components from Internet of Things (IoT) providers, often leveraging the data generated by those components on a safe and secure data lake and utilizing multiple analytics and AI/ML tools to drive actionable insights.The solutions help the CBRE Facility Managers, Property Managers and Accounts teams to enhance the Building KPIs, drive customers\' sustainability targets. This could be through reduction of Opex costs, or enhancing of building experience and green building certifications like WELL, LEED etc. which in turn drive additional premiums on customer revenues or both.The best part which I enjoy the most is that I get to work with state-of-the-art technologies and tools on a day-to-day basis and also that I get the opportunity connect with people with diverse cultural backgrounds from across the globe during the process.
