About Sohail Shaik
Sohail completed his master\'s in Information Systems and Technology at the University of North Texas.Previously, Sohail worked with Deloitte for 2 years as a Consultant. During his two years at Deloitte, Sohail has worked for Walmart as a Full Stack Cloud Native Java developer. Sohail is part of a team that has developed its first large-scale Microsoft Azure-based “Born-in-the-cloud” Disaster Recovery solution with advanced AI/ML capabilities that Deloitte has built for any client. Sohail has led the endeavor of migrating the Walmart-HighVelocityItems project from Azure Cloud to Walmart Managed Cloud platform WCNP(Walmart Cloud Native Platform) which is more secure and easily scalable. Sohail has optimized the usage of Azure cloud resources, which cut down the cost by 23%.Automated PO-OMS, which allows the Walmart OMS team to reconcile orders with ease when services are up and running after a disaster scenario.
