I focused on refining existing product features and optimising current testing processes, with the aim to cut costs, improve product reliability and maximise operational efficiency.• Executed hands-on assembly of prototype optical switches, refined testing protocols, and conducted testing and fault analysis to ensure system robustness across key optical performance metrics.• Conducted root cause analysis of product failures at component and system level to gain valuable insights and deliver targeted solutions using data analytic tools (Excel, Python).• Performed Design and Process FMEA on prototype optical switches to identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential failure modes, enhancing safety, reliability, and cost-efficiency while reducing risks of malfunctions and recalls. • Devised and implemented specialised environmental tests (vibration, thermal shock and damp heat experiments) both in-house and at external test houses to validate product reliability under extreme conditions.• Led the compliance certification assessment of optical switch prototypes (Safety, EMC, and Drop Testing) in collaboration with external companies, adhering to widely recognized standards (including ISO), while managing technical documentation, conducting briefings, and ensuring efficient, cost-effective test execution.• Regularly visited customer sites, leveraging in-depth product knowledge to support testing setups and ensure accurate and timely execution of testing. • Directed technical discussions with a world-class tech customer, negotiating product requirements, aligning on objectives, and showcasing progress to meet strict project deadlines.• Designed and executed system-level software verification tests using a detailed test plan to ensure compliance with customer and internal requirements.
