Sofie Khan is a Computer Engineering student at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson).Hard work and determination are key aspects in defining who she is. This was recognized while working at SnapShip as a web development co-op student. She overcame technical issues by using critical thinking and problem solving skills. From this experience, she understood that the only restraint to her success was herself. Therefore, she is determined to sustain this ideology with her throughout her lifetime. Sofie Khan\'s imperative long-term goals are to develop a career as an engineer and transition into software and computer development. She is confident that her skill set, knowledge, competitive edge, attention to detail and passion for engineering will substantially contribute to achieving her career goals. Sofie values strong communication, a cordial work environment, self-motivation, a strong-work ethic, and developing meaningful relationships. These values are essential in the career that she is striving for.Through Sofie\'s experience with problem-solving, she recognized a core strength that prompts her to vanquish any obstacles she may face in life. It assisted in providing her with the confidence that she can do remarkable things when she puts her mind to something.
