I’ve been delighted to be able to do pro bono work with Cardiff university. I’ll have to participate in group sessions where we discuss and guide our client with how the court system works and provide them with the correct support that they need. I’m excited to gain some hand on experience as well as expand my knowledge with this opportunity and gain new skills!

ABOUT SOFIA R.
As a second-year Law student at Cardiff University, I am eager to build a strong foundation in the legal field. My role as a Sales Colleague at Currys has equipped me with valuable experience in discussing contractual agreements, explaining finance options, and effectively pitching care plans to customers. This role helped me develop strong communication and interpersonal skills, which I now aim to apply and enhance within a professional legal context, particularly through networking and collaborative opportunities.In addition, I was selected to participate in the government-backed Talent Tap programme, which involved a competitive interview process. Although I am scheduled to attend the two-week work experience placement next year, I am already benefiting from the mentorship and development opportunities the programme provides.I am enthusiastic about continuing to grow both academically and professionally, and I look forward to gaining practical legal experience that complements my studies.
