As a Director of User Experience, I control the product development life cycle, explain the product development process to stakeholders, help define the project needs and goals, oversee requirements development, create and review direction of prototypes through iterative cycles and work with developers to ensure the stakeholder vision and requirements are met. I guide global teams of designers, researchers, and engineers, set the product direction, and synthesize needs, goals, and research into concrete design and development implementations. I serve as a partner to our clients and stakeholders, ensuring the user experience addresses both user needs and aligns with business strategy. I balance the tactical and strategic views of a project to create design requirements and prototypes. I cultivate an environment of collaboration and openness to enable clients and designers to elevate their creativity and work product. I seek to create a human-centered design culture focused on serving the needs of our users and customers that drive business results. I follow the project through to completion to ensure stakeholder requirements are met. Featured Projects: Belgium Train Project Worked with product managers, development team, Belgium train operators and other stakeholders to define requirements for a visual dashboard used to resolve real-time issues and ensure a safe and seamless transportation experience for customers. Designed an easy-to-use dashboard for train controllers to review train data, train systems, and crew availability to make on-the-fly decisions in real-time.
