ABOUT SOFIA SOLEDAD DUARTE POBLETE
I am an Argentinian design lecturer and product designer with a materials-driven design perspective. I am PhD in Design from Politecnico di Milano, Department of Design, lecturer in the same department, and didactic coordinator of the master in Design for Sustainability and Regeneration at POLIdesign. I hold a master\'s degree in Integrated Product Design from Polimi and a bachelor\'s degree in Industrial Design from the National University of La Plata, Argentina. As part of the research group MaDe/Trans (Polimi), and Design Intelligences group, I am carrying out different tutoring and mentoring activities for master students and workshops in the field of emerging materials and practices to foster environmental sustainability. My research interests are materials design and product design for environmental sustainability and regenerative approaches between practice and theories, looking to foster more-than-human design perspectives. I\'m currently post-doc research fellow in a European project: TracksforCrafts EU.
