About Sofia de Mora Tostado
I build AI systems fast. I have been working in applied AI long before it was trendy, mostly on problems involving agents, graphs, and messy real world data. My brain naturally thinks in nodes, edges, and feedback loops.Early in my career, I worked on graph based research to help dismantle human trafficking networks in Mexico. That work earned the Sotero Prieto Award, think of it as the Mexican equivalent of the Fields Medal, and shaped how I approach intelligence systems. I focus on structure, relationships, and hidden signals rather than surface level metrics.I later spent several years shipping AI products at high velocity, building everything from data pipelines to agent driven systems that reason, act, and occasionally misbehave. These days, I am building AI and agent based intelligence systems designed to help humans make better decisions faster.I am originally from Guadalajara, Mexico. Outside of work, my attention is split between planning a ranch and spending long nights at Broadway shows.
