About Sofia Montgomery

I am an employee engagement and experience expert and a DEI lead with a passion for creating inclusive, exciting and productive work environments, both in person and remote. I am skilled in all areas of employee experience and am always looking for new ways to delight employees and bolster camaraderie. I am a lifelong learner and recently completed a certificate program at NYU Stern School of Business in Corporate Sustainability. I also led the sustainability group as well as the DEI book club at Justworks and served as communications director for the IFMA Sustainability Committee. At Figma I have led our Pride ERG and our social impact group, Give a Fig. My background in theater and events strengthens my current work in tech: bringing creative ideas and experience working internationally and across many teams. I made the transition from theater and events to employee and workplace experience because I was ready to focus my energy on one organization and both roles center my passion for taking care of others and fostering creativity.
