ABOUT SOFIA MEDIAVILLA MADRIGAL
Hi, my name is Sofia, a research and development scientist, currently working on emission mitigation technologies for the maritime industry. During this last university stage, I have been part of an international students\' society, where I have connected with students from around the world and co-organised events to ensure they settle in this new country as smoothly as possible. On top of this, I have been volunteering as a coordinator for an international organisation. Here, I have had the chance to manage teams of various sizes and organise events to bring volunteers from different parts of the network together and develop their interpersonal skills. I am keen on catalysis and its application in the industry, particularly related to net zero initiatives. Therefore, my objective is to develop a career in chemical engineering with a focus on advanced materials development and projects related to green energies, where I get to apply what I have learned during my academic studies and industrial experience so far, while also developing my skillset to achieve the best possible results.Feel free to contact me if you want to have a chat and get further insights into what a day in my life looks like!
