As Community Development Director for Foster City, I have led initiatives that directly support smart growth, housing accessibility, and sustainable planning. In 2023, let to successful adoption of two General Plan updates including Housing Element and Safety Element. In 2024, I played a key role in implementing the City’s 2023–2031 Housing Element, expanded the Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) Program, and contributed to the update of the Climate Action Plan. My work focuses on balancing regulatory compliance with community engagement, ensuring development aligns with city goals while actively involving residents in the process. I bring a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach to leadership, blending technical expertise with a deep commitment to public service.In 2023-24, assisted the City Manager’s office in development and community engagement efforts surrounding the Business License Tax Measure, which was ultimately approved by voters—demonstrating my ability to support fiscally responsible initiatives through collaborative outreach and strategic planning.
