About Sofia Hockaday

I’ve grown up with a passion for justice, community service, and a drive to positively impact the lives of others. My journey into the legal field began through diverse experiences that have taught me invaluable lessons in responsibility, leadership, and advocacy.In addition to my hands-on experience, I developed strong leadership abilities as a fellow of the Canyon Civic Institute, where I learned how to inspire and guide my peers toward shared goals. This experience taught me the importance of resilience, teamwork, and accountability, skills I continue to carry forward in my academic and professional pursuits.I have earned my BS degree in Justice studies, where I have graduated Summa Cum Laude all in just two years. Through my legal internship, I have gained experience in legal research, document preparation, and case management, which has solidified my dedication to a career in law.I am actively working as a legal assistant and studying for the LSAT, further developing my legal expertise and practical skills. My ultimate goal is to serve my community as an attorney specializing in immigration or family law, where I can make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families.
