About Sofia Gonzalez
Hi there! My name is Sofia Gonzalez (she/her/hers), and I am a second-year student at UC Berkeley from Albuquerque, New Mexico! At my core, I am deeply passionate about my home state of New Mexico and I aim to serve the communities that have shaped me. As a Bioengineering major, I hope to dive deeper into learning about devices, computational biology, and explore how innovation can be leveraged to build equity for historically marginalized communities. Likewise, I am minoring in public policy and exploring further opportunities to learn about local and federal public policy initiatives impacting healthcare, immigration, and public education.
