Hello! My name is Sofia and I am based in Washington, DC. I am originally from Baltimore County, MD and have particular interests in researching and working with those impacted by prisons and policing and housing and neighborhood inequities. I approach all of these issues with a critical abolitionist perspective. I currently work as the Community Engagement Coordinator for Free Minds Book Club and Writing Workshop, a non-profit organization dedicated to using the literary arts and community healing to support those in the DC area who are currently or formerly incarcerated.
