ABOUT SOFIA DA PALMA RODRIGUES
I am a journalist, with experience as investigative reporter in different countries in Europe, Africa and Americas. I like to straddle the worlds of journalism, documentary and academia, In 2014, I co-founded Divergente, a digital magazine of narrative journalism focused on investigative and immersive stories that bring new approaches to the way journalism has been done. I have a PHD in Post-colonial Studies. In the recent years, I have been dedicated to study the micro-narratives that relate the experiences lived by the African troops that fought alongside Portugal during the Colonial War (19••••74).
