ABOUT SOFIA CASCAIS

After a bachelor in Architecture in ISCTE- Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, I carried my master studies in Münster School of Architecture at Fachhochschule Münster in an ERASMUS year and came back to Lisbon to finish my master in Architecture. For my master thesis I covered the Evolution of the Fictional Cities in Cinema and Video Games, from the sets, real cities to the cg cities. I worked as an architect for 3 year in the EcoMuseu do Corvo, which was a Rehabilitation Project of the historic part of the Village as well as a Social /Cultural Project in conjunction with the local population. The idea was that the hole island was a living museum, since a lot of its rich history was still seen on everyday life due to its isolation throughout the years. In 2018 I decided to embrace a new challenge and enrolled in Odd School in Lisbon, where I enhanced my skills in Photoshop, 3Ds Max and Zbrush. I then completed my studies attending the 3D Modeling and Texturing Advanced Course. In 2020 I started my career as a 3D Artist with an internship at Nu Boyana Portugal, where I am currently working as a 3D Generalist. I also give some Foundations Courses at Odd School from time to time. Artstation
