ABOUT SOFIA CARPENTER-RODRIGUEZ
I am a Senior at the University of Oregon, majoring in Sociology with a minor in Spanish. My passion pulls me in to working on community engagement, equity, and creativity.I serve as a Transportation Planning Intern for the City of Eugene, as well as a transit education intern for a non-profit in Portland, OR. For 8 years I worked remotely as an art studio manager, specializing in grant writing, social media strategy, and event coordination. Over the past five years, I’ve focused my skills on communication, project management, brand building, and creative problem-solving.As an Eagle Scout, I’ve embraced leadership, diversity, and adaptability. Beyond academics and work, I enjoy discovering hidden gems in the city, staying informed on political movements, and cheering for my Oregon Ducks.
