As part of the Lead for Literacy Center Communications and Dissemination Team, I assist with the creation and management of social media content for the official social media pages, including Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. I work with researchers and literacy coaches to create professional development resources for literacy educators and leaders, including videos, viewing guides, PowerPoint presentations, webinar and website materials. I work with literacy coaches and experts to create technical assistance and coaching materials for a wide range of audiences, and provide technical assistance in trainings and through web content to better engage with administrators and educators.

ABOUT SOFIA BOWMAN
I\'m a graduate of The College William and Mary, earning in B.A. in History with a minor in Psychology, passionate about improving our public systems through rigorous evidence-based research and dissemination. In my role at the American Institutes for Research within the Education Systems program area, I aim to support education leaders and administrators, teachers, students and their families through research, technical assistance, and outreach. I assist researchers with data collection, reports, briefs, and work collaboratively with teams to create a wide variety of social media and web outreach materials to increase engagement. My role bridges researchers with communication and dissemination teams.
